“ Notice is hereby given in terms of Rule 5 (3) of the Club’s Constitution that a Special General Meeting will be held at 7.30pm on Thursday 8th April 2021. The matters to be considered at this meeting will be:-
1. An update from the Committee on discussions with North Ayrshire Council regards the provision of the Lochshore Community Hub, Lochshore, Glengarnock; and
2. That the Club’s Constitution be amended by the insertion of a new Rule 7(6) in the following terms: “ (6) To borrow, lend and make grants of such sums of money as may in its opinion be necessary for the full and efficient conduct of the affairs of the Club, upon such terms and conditions, by way of security or otherwise, as it thinks proper.”
Due to current Covid restrictions the Special General Meeting will be conducted virtually. Any Member wishing to attend the Special General Meeting should contact Club Secretary Billy Walker [[email protected]] in the 7 days prior to the meeting to obtain log-in details.
Only fully paid up Members will be entitled to attend and vote at the Special General Meeting. In terms of Rule 4 (3) of the Constitution each Family Membership is entitled to one vote.”
